The goal of the EV Charging Work Group is to promote the use of EV’s to and within Stillwater.

The importance of increased use of EV’s is Stillwater is because:

EV’s have clean emissions and do not contribute greenhouse gases into the environment, therefore the promotion and increased use of EV’s in Stillwater is good for the local environment and helps reduce the effects of climate change.
EV’s are becoming more popular and prevalent within Stillwater. The more that visitors will drive EV’s to visit Stillwater, the more important it is to have available EV’s charging. With increased use of EV’s, lack of EV charging in Stillwater can likely have a negative effect on visitors coming to Stillwater, which would also have a negative effect on Stillwater economics.
