About the Event
This live event will explore the importance of climate justice education in preparing future generations to address the climate crisis. Climate change disproportionately affects frontline communities, making education a key tool for advocacy, resilience, and meaningful action. The discussion will highlight how integrating climate justice into education empowers young people to become informed leaders in creating a sustainable future.
B. Rosas (They/Them), Policy Manager with Climate Generation, will serve as the featured speaker. Growing up in South Minneapolis, Rosas witnessed firsthand the inequities experienced by frontline communities and the transformative impact of collective advocacy. Their work focuses on advancing climate change education at both the state and national levels, emphasizing its role as a critical climate solution.
A virtual attendance option will be available via Zoom.
