Discover how simple steps like composting fruit and vegetable peels, eggshells, and coffee grounds can divert up to 20% of household trash from landfills and turn it into nutrient-rich soil.

Led by Hannah Keller, Senior Environmental Specialist with the Washington County Department of Public Health and Environment, this interactive presentation will guide you through:

  • How the Food Scraps Pickup Program works.
