Since 2013, Sustainable Stillwater MN has championed local initiatives in ENERGY, TRANSPORTATION, ECONOMY, and ENVIRONMENT to reduce the community's carbon footprint. Our vision is rooted in preserving the environment while fostering a thriving, inclusive community for future generations.
Position Overview:
The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and oversee all staff, contractors, projects, and operations. Working closely with the Board of Directors and community stakeholders, this role ensures SSMN's initiatives align with our mission and make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage SSMN's staff, contractors, and volunteers to achieve strategic goals.
Drive strategic planning and implement sustainable growth initiatives.
Oversee program and project execution, ensuring alignment with SSMN's mission.
Manage financial operations, budgeting, and fundraising efforts.
Engage with community partners and serve as the public face of SSMN.
Position Details:
Title: Executive Director
Reports to: Board of Directors
Hours: Part-time, 60-80 hours/month (flexible, some in-person engagement required)
Compensation: $35/hour
Location: Must reside in the Greater Stillwater area
