Monday, June 5th starting at Gazebo in Lowell Park downtown Stillwater. This Trash Dash was a success even though it was humid and smoky outside (due to the wildfires up in Canada). We had 10 people come out to help pick up litter.

Trash Dashes are quick, fun, and instantly rewarding! It helps folks connect with nature, increases activity levels, and helps clean up our community. Creating a healthy environment is vital to creating a sustainable community for all to live, work, and play in. Every piece of trash that is taken away to be recycled or deposited in a landfill means there is one less dangerous item for birds, turtles, or fish to swallow. Cleanups also restore these creatures’ habitats.
