Calling all community helpers!

Meghan, SSMN's Protect Our Waters workgroup leader, is seeking volunteers to help distribute Adopt-a-Drain door hangers and flyers about smart salt use around Long Lake this month.

Why It Matters:

Road salt can significantly impact water quality, and raising awareness in our community helps protect Long Lake and other nearby water bodies. By volunteering, you'll play a vital role in this important outreach effort!

How You Can Help:

• What: Hand out door hangers and flyers to households around Long Lake.

• When: Flexible! Meghan has already started and will be continuing throughout the month. She’s planning another round this weekend and can coordinate times that work for you.

• Where: Long Lake area.
